Freelance Quantity Surveyor (Civils) needed, Liverpool.

Hays are partnered with a well-established civil engineering contractor, operating nationally, who are seeking a freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to support delivery of a long-term highways framework in the North West.As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:Manage commercial delivery of asphalt surfacing schemes under NEC4 contracts.Oversee subcontractor procurement, payments, and change control.Handle compensation events and ensure NEC4 compliance.Monitor risks, performance, and framework KPIs.

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in highways or civil engineering.Experience working on frameworks for local authorities or public sector clients.Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.Competitive daily rate (outside IR35)Long-term role on a secure and high-profile framework.
