Broster Buchanan are working with a high growth consumer goods company to recruit a Head of Finance to be based in the West Midlands. As Head of Finance you will have responsibility for reporting, planning and analysis and act as a trusted advisor for business leaders to assist decision making and improve financial performance.Responsibilities

Building partnerships and strong relationships with all senior managers, stakeholders and their teams providing financial support to commercial decision making.Overseeing financial control activities, e.g. managing month-end close process.Challenging assumptions, influencing decisions and making recommendations for efficiency improvements in order to sustain growth.Demonstrating thought leadership by presenting alternative recommendations to existing approaches.Manage and develop a high performing team.Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong business partnering and analytical skills. Effective stakeholder engagement skills are essential for this role. They will be an exceptional communicator who is comfortable business partnering and influencing senior finance and non-finance stakeholders, with demonstrable experience of operating in a complex, multi-site organisation. A proactive approach to driving continuous improvement is expected.Employment details
