Role SummaryAs Senior Service Engineer, you''ll be the technical lead for our service team, responsible for the quality of the work our service engineers carry out.Most of the week is based at our Wiveliscombe office, supporting engineers on site by phone, resolving escalated technical issues and quoting follow-on work. The rest is in the field, on inspections, maintenance and commissioning jobs that need a senior engineer''s expertise across sewage treatment plants, pump stations and rainwater harvesting systems.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support and advice to customers, colleagues and engineers on site, including daily phone support and resolving escalated technical issuesCarry out fault diagnosis, repair, maintenance and commissioning on sewage treatment and water pumping systems, covering electrical and mechanical equipmentComplete pre-service inspections and define what is needed to bring systems up to a serviceable standardProduce detailed service reports with costed technical recommendationsQuote additional work identified in the field, and refer more complex opportunities to the sales teamProduce RAMS and order sheetsTrain and coach trainee and service engineers, and take responsibility for the quality of the service team''s workHelp develop technical documentation, manuals and service proceduresMake sure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with company policies and health and safety requirementsBuild strong customer relationships and ..... full job details .....
