Payroll Officer

Transaction Recruitment are supporting our Coventry based client in their search for an experienced Payroll Officer to join them on an initial 12 month interim assignment, offering an immediate start. You will be working as part of a well established and successful payroll function, which is responsible for taking ownership of weekly and month payrolls from start to finish for 1000+ employees. This position offers hybrid working, with early finishes on Fridays. Daily duties and experience required includes: Prior experience of working within an end-to-end high volume payroll department Calculating holiday and national insurance Calculating SSP, SMP and SPP Manual calculations experience Processing starters and leavers Query resolution Up to date payroll legislation knowledge Confident user of Excel In return my client is offering the opportunity to join a market leading business which offers hybrid working, early finishes on Fridays, free on site parking and easy access by public transport.
