As a crucial member of the late shift, you will play a key role in ensuring production is running smoothly. The role involves supervising, training and leading people within the department to ensure the daily production schedule is followed, whilst liaising with the Late Shift Manager. Main Duties and Responsibilities Supervise, train, lead and develop the people within your sphere of influence. Be a point of contact for resolving operative issues within your area and serve as a link between subordinates and senior management. Remain calm and professional at all times especially when under pressure and must be comfortable holding your team accountable. Attend and hold ad hoc meetings and relay appropriate information to team members. Implement any changes and improvements that have been approved by senior management. Study production schedules and estimate staffing, night shift workload and machinery requirements. Have a continuous improvement mindset to eliminate errors and lead them team by example.
