We are recruiting an Area Sales Manager for an established UK engineering business supplying CNC machine tools and technical support into manufacturers across the North West and North Midlands. This isn''t a blank-sheet territory. You will be taking responsibility for an established customer base, developing those relationships further and creating new opportunities across a strong manufacturing region. The business is looking for someone who understands that selling machine tools is not about firing quotations at people. It is about understanding what a manufacturer is trying to achieve, discussing applications properly, building credibility and staying involved through what can be a long capital-equipment sales process. The role You will take commercial responsibility for the territory, working with existing customers while continuing to develop new business.
