We seek a versatile and experienced Staff Applied Economist to join the Applied AI team. You will lead in-game economy research, analysis, and optimization, applying economic expertise and scientific rigor to design, diagnose, and balance in-game economies for our flagship titles.What You Will Do

Serve as a subject matter expert, collaborating with product, commercial, and development teams to innovate and improve game economy design and mechanics.Develop and implement econometric, statistical, and machine learning models to analyze virtual economy health, marketplace pricing, and responses to economy changes.Use predictive, simulation, and optimization techniques to support economy tuning, balancing, and intervention decisions.Work with applied scientists and machine learning engineers to deploy models and integrate insights into games.Promote hypothesis testing through experimentation and develop causal inference skills to understand intervention outcomes.What Will Make You a Great Fit

Master''s or Ph.D. in Economics, Statistics, Marketing Science, or related fields.4-6 years of experience in economist, data science, or applied research roles.Deep knowledge of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics.Experience developing statistical, machine learning, and econometric models.Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and handling large datasets.Excellent communication skills for explaining complex insights to non-specialists.Bonus Points
