As part of the Housing Services team, they are investing in their data capability to support better decision-making, improved service delivery and enhanced outcomes for residents.We are seeking an experienced Data Team Leader to establish and lead a small but growing data function within Housing Services. This is an exciting opportunity to shape reporting, analytics and data-driven decision-making across one of the council''s most important service areas. Your new role As Data Team Leader, you will lead the development of the housing team''s reporting and analytics capability. Approximately 50% of their reporting is currently run through Power BI with the remainder still in Excel. Your team will be looking at the reports in excel and how they can be moved across or streamlined and equally ensuring the ones in Power BI are maximised. You will manage a small team, initially leading an existing Data Trainer and supporting the recruitment of two Data Analysts. Working closely with senior stakeholders across Housing Services, you will help drive a culture of evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement.
