Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Personal Advisor to join Leicestershire County Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• To hold a caseload of older children in care and care leavers.- -

• To oversee pathway planning for our care leavers

• To provide necessary transport for children/young people and parents/carers.

• To assist social workers in preparing looked after children for independence

• To attend supervision compliant with CYPS Supervision policy and procedure and with the Team Manager at annual PDR and mid-year review their individual and developmental needs

Essential Requirements

• Full UK driving licence-

• Level 3 childcare qualification (NNEB/NVQ3 or equivalent)

• Relevant paid or unpaid experience of working with care leavers within a social care setting or similar

• IT skills/email/Microsoft word
