Your new companyOperating both in the UK and across the world, they are a leading contractor delivering projects across multiple sectors including; real estate, defence, education, highways, rail and water.Your new roleWorking on the largest highways project in the region involving a new 10 mile dual carriageway, we are looking for a Section Engineer to join the project team.As Section Engineer they require you to effectively and professionally monitor and supervise site works including subcontract packages. Delivered in accordance with company procedures, programme requirements and project specifications.Some of the duties involved (but not limited to): Contribute to construction feasibility reviews of the proposed detailed design, review and commenting on Issued For Assurance construction packs prior to receiving IFC informationCoordinate supply chain partners to contribute to design solutions at the appropriate time to deliver a right first time design solution that can be constructed with "no in-flight change"Ensure construction issues are raised promptly through the delivery team, with an appropriate level of escalation to determine a suitable resolutionWrite and/or Review Temporary Works Design Briefs to the acceptance of the TWCEnsure the delivery team is working to the latest design, and it is fully understood.Understand the design specifications and drawings for your section. Challenge where relevant.Communicate the delivery requirements for the upcoming 3-6 months
