Mon to Fri (Apply online only) (With some flexibility and optional overtime as required) Our client based to the South West of Norwich are a family-run joinery business dedicated to creating bespoke, beautiful, and functional, they operate out of their own large purpose built manufacturing facility, which includes a design studio, machine shop, assembly area, and spray booths. They are a growing team that are seeking a carpenter/joiner who will add skills and experience to this role. Main Duties and Responsibilities The role encompasses the following key areas: Reading and interpreting plans: Studying blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications to understand project requirements. Problem-solving: Identifying and resolving production or workflow issues promptly and efficiently. Material selection: Choosing appropriate wood types, veneers, and other materials based on project needs and budget. Cutting and shaping wood: Operating power tools such as table saws, jointers, and CNC routers to accurately cut and shape wood components. Joinery craftsmanship: Creating precise joints, including mortise and tenon, dowels, and other traditional joinery methods.
