This role involves supervising classes during teacher absences, and ensuring students remain engaged in learning while maintaining a calm, structured, and supportive environment.Responsibilities include:To plan and deliver learning activities to children and young people, differentiating, modifying and using specialist activities and approaches according to children or young people''s responses/needsSupervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.Deliver pre-set work, ensuring students stay on task and complete assigned activities.Provide targeted support for students with SEN, adapting approaches as needed.To support students with SEN to fulfil their academic potentialTo be involved in keeping records and evaluating identified students'' progressTo assist with the development and implementation of support plansTo prepare students beforehand for a task, e.g. pre-teachingTo supervise practical tasksTo carry out structured classroom assessment/observation and fee
