The role will mainly revolve around carrying out detailed inspection with calibrated equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity with a long-established firm that provides great security and a positive work environment.Key Duties:Carrying out detailed inspection of componentsUse of micrometers, verniers, depth micrometers, metric ring gauges and soft thread comparatorsCarrying out goods in inspection of all outworkChecking all raw material deliveries meet expected requirementsEnsuring all measuring equipment, gauges and associated equipment are calibrated and maintained to required specificationRecording and reporting defects and non-conformitiesChecking material certification complies with Quality System requirementsIdentifying and reporting trends where quality issues ariseCover for other inspectors as requiredCarrying out in-house training where requiredKey Requirements:Previous experience in Quality Inspection - Engineering preferredUnderstanding the use of calibrated equipmentLocal to HuddersfieldAble to work independently and demonstrate a good work ethicPlease apply now or contact to express interest in this role!
