TIG Welder / Fabricator Permanent positionSalary guide: £16.00 to £18.00 per hour, depending in experience, plus overtime ratesLocation: Basildon, Essex A skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator is required to join a well-established Essex based engineering company who specialise in design and manufacture of high-quality stainless steel bespoke equipment. It is essential for candidate to have experience of fabrication and welding stainless steel down to 1.0 mm and need to have a good understanding of engineering drawings. Key Responsibilities: TIG welding on stainless steel and other welding techniques to assemble parts with precisionEnsure high-quality workmanship in the fabrication of sheet metal components.Metal finishing, polishing etc.Work from detailed engineering drawings to meet project specifications.Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards in the workplace.Assist in the testing and finishing of fabricated products Required Qualifications and Skills: Extensive hands-on experience TIG welding and stainless steel fabrication processes.Strong mechanical knowledge.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and welding equipment.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Strong team player with excellent communication skills.Awareness of health and safety regulations.Relevant certifications in welding or fabrication are preferred. Working Hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8.00 AM to 4.30 PM with overtime opportunities.Competitive pay: discussed at interview.O
