ALN Teaching Assistant in a Primary School
TeacherActive is seeking a compassionate and committed ALN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs in a Neath primary school. This full-time role involves working closely with class teachers and the ALNCo to provide tailored support, helping every child reach their full potential.You will support pupils 1:1 or in small groups with needs such as ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH.Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group supportAdapt learning to meet individual needsImplement IEPs and support targetsSupport communication, behaviour, and social developmentWork with staff to monitor progress and maintain a safe, inclusive environment Ideal Candidate: Relevant TA qualification (Level 2/3 desirable)Experience with ALN pupilsPatient, empathetic, and resilientUnderstanding of ASD, ADHD, or SEMHStrong communication and behaviour management skills What We Offer: 24/7 consultant supportCPD courses via My-ProgressionCompetitive pay ratesReferral scheme (up to £200) Terms and Conditions Apply Our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you re paying the right level of TAX and National Insurance and there s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.
