Key skills include positive communication, engagement, and unconditional positive regard for the people we support. You should be confident in working within a positive behaviour support framework, accepting responsibility, and developing as a skilled practitioner. Responsibilities include building trusting relationships, supporting a range of activities, ensuring physical well-being, and addressing frustrations.
