Contract: Fixed Term, 0.4 FTE

Working Days: Mondays & Tuesdays

A leading independent school in Essex is seeking an inspirational and dynamic Teacher of Art to join its thriving Art department on a part-time, fixed-term basis. The Art department is a vibrant and highly valued part of school life, with a strong uptake of Art at GCSE, A Level and IB Diploma level. The department champions student-led enquiry, reflective practice and personalised creative pathways, helping students build both technical skill and cultural understanding.

Qualifications and Experience

• A relevant degree in Art or a related discipline
• PGCE (or equivalent)
• Experience teaching Art or working within an educational environment is desirable
• A strong personal artistic practice
