M&E Site Manager - Water sector
Location: Birmingham / Severn Trent Water region
Rate: Up to £450 per day + mileage
Duration: 6 months+
Are you an experienced M&E Site Manager with a background in the water sector and looking for your next contract?
We''re looking for an M&E Site Manager to work on the Severn Trent Water (STW) framework, overseeing mechanical and electrical works across water and wastewater projects.
The Role
You''ll be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
·Managing mechanical and electrical installation works on water and wastewater projects.
·Coordinating subcontractors, site teams and specialist contractors.
·Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and site procedures.
·Monitoring progress and ensuring works are delivered in line with project programmes.
·Liaising with project managers, engineers and client representatives.
·Managing site documentation, RAMS, permits and quality inspections.
·Supporting testing, commissioning and project handovers where required.
What We''re Looking For
·Previous experience as an M&E Site Manager.
·A strong background in the water and wastewater sector.
·Experience managing mechanical and electrical works on treatment works or water infrastructure projects.
·Good knowledge of health and safety, quality control and site management.
·Relevant site management qualifications and certifications.
