In the UK, Safran Seats specialises in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England. Job summaryThis role has responsibility for leading two key areas of transformational change for SEATS GB:

Business Transformation

– ensure our 3-year transformational plan is well aligned with business functions.

Continuous Improvement (CI)

– coach the organisation in developing and driving an effective CI journey.

Responsibilities

Matrix alignment with all business transformation leaders to ensure integration and a cohesive portfolio of projects.

Promote a culture of high performance, continuous improvement and innovation that values learning and quality.

Ensure team members of transformational projects, though not direct reports, receive timely feedback, training and development in coordination with project managers.

Support the building of a network of staff engaged in initiatives at Company and BU levels to ensure visibility and alignment of SGB activities with the Company.

Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach involved in the main transformational projects.

Leader of the CI Team and management responsibilities for several Black Belt CI Leaders.

Change management skills – Essential

Presentation skills – Essential
