Due to continued growth and increased workload, our client is looking to expand their skilled team. The Role This is a hands-on position working on a range of mechanical systems and components, primarily within the rail industry. The role will involve both workshop and occasional site-based work. Key responsibilities include: Installation, assembly, and alignment of mechanical components and equipmentMaintenance and repair of railway-related systems, including damaged rolling stockDiagnosing faults and carrying out corrective workWorking with pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, and rotating equipmentReading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentationCompleting job reports and maintenance recordsEnsuring adherence to health and safety procedures at all times There may be occasional travel required. When working away, accommodation is provided along with a 25 nightly allowance and use of a company vehicle.
