Teacher Active require a Community Mentor for our cliet provision-This is a permenant or temp to permenant job for the right person, Roles and responsibilities:Learner Engagement and Mentoring Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with an allocated caseload of learners.Deliver personalised mentoring sessions in line with the learner''s allocated pathwaySupport learners to overcome barriers to education, promoting engagement, resilience, independence and personal development.Deliver community-based mentoring sessions in accordance with operational procedures and risk assessments.Promote positive learning behaviours and encourage learners to take increasing ownership of their education.Adapt mentoring approaches to meet the individual needs of each learner, recognising trauma-informed and SEND-informed practice. Attendance and Engagement Monitor the attendance and engagement of allocated learners, identifying concerns at the earliest opportunity.Work collaboratively with the Community Operations and Attendance Coordinator to support learner engagement and re-engagement.Conduct welfare checks and home visits in accordance with Progress Community procedures.Support learners returning following periods of absence or disengagement.Maintain regular communication with families to encourage sustained engagement in education.
