Warehouse Operative Bedford, Bedfordshire 28,000 per annum Permanent position A successful and well-established industrial materials storage business based in Bedford is currently looking for a capable and motivated Warehouse Operative with a valid (or recently expired) Forklift Counterbalance Licence, to join their busy team. Position Summary: This position is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packaging and despatching products in an industrial warehouse setting and occasionally carrying out local deliveries using a Full UK Driving Licence and flat-bed vehicle. Duties will include: Manual handling of large industrial metalwork and materials Safely operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driving of a company vehicles to occasionally deliver products to customers Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Working as part of a team and carrying out other duties as and when required to assist other departments when needed Requirements / Previous Experience: Previous experience working in a warehouse environment A valid, clean UK driving licence (or minor points accepted) Current or recent Forklift Truck Licence is essential (refresher training can be provided if licence has recently expired) Manual handling experience and capabilities Ability to use computer systems to log information and job details etc. Willingness to drive company vehicles to deliver products on occasion What is Offered: Varied job role Friendly and supportive team working ..... full job details .....
