Are you a recent Psychology graduate looking to apply your academic knowledge in a meaningful and hands-on role£ A friendly and inclusive primary school in Colnbrookandnbsp;andnbsp;is seeking a proactive and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a therapeutic educational settingandmdash;perfect for those considering careers in educational psychology, mental health, or special educational needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils facing emotional and behavioural challenges
• Use psychological strategies to promote emotional regulation, resilience, and positive social skills
• Assist in delivering structured routines and tailored interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists to implement individual support plans
• Help create a safe and nurturing environment where pupils feel supported and empowered

Weandrsquo;re Looking for Someone Who:

• Holds a degree in Psychology or a related subject
• Has a genuine interest in child development, mental health, and inclusive education£
• Is empathetic, patient, and confident in building relationships with children who may display challenging behaviour
• Is eager to learn and develop professionally, with access to training in safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and therapeutic techniques
• Has experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
