Salary: £173 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Aberdare. The school is looking for a dedicated and confident Secondary Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis, starting ASAP and continuing until February half term.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high standards of behaviour and supporting pupils of varying abilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher looking to gain further classroom experience within a welcoming school environment.

We are looking for a Secondary Teacher in Aberdare with the following:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (NQTs are also welcome to apply)

• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• The ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across KS3 and KS4

• A flexible, proactive and professional approach to teaching

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
