Overview

Are you a Bookkeeping Semi Senior or a Client Manager looking to join a niche West End accountancy firm that specialises in working with high profile Creative, Media, Entertainment, Theatre, Fashion, Film and TV and Art Gallery clients? The practice is entrepreneurial and forward thinking with a relaxed, informal office environment and a strong focus on work–life balance. A newly created position (September 2025) will enable you to manage your own portfolio of clients and initially carry out bookkeeping and VAT assignments.Location: Central London. The office atmosphere is non-corporate and easy going. The firm offers hybrid working (4 days in the office, 1 day remote) and ACCA study support after the 3-month probation period.

Responsibilities

Manage your own portfolio of clients.Perform bookkeeping and VAT assignments.After approximately 6 months, receive training to prepare Ltd company statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, personal tax returns and management accounts for your clients.Utilise cloud software including Sage One, Xero and CCH for accounts production.Contribute to a high standard of service for high profile clients in a relaxed West End firm environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

At least 2–3 years (or more) experience in an accountancy firm in a mixed role involving bookkeeping and VAT returns.Experience of accounts preparation and tax returns is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.Likely studying for a professional qualification (AAT or ACCA).Excellent communication skills, self-starter, able to work both in a team and independently.Probation period of 3 months; full study support for AAT or ACCA after probation.Hybrid working requirement: based in Central London with 4 days in the office and 1 day at home.
