Purchase Ledger Part-time 12-month FTC LoughtonWe''re working with a well-established professional services organisation that''s looking for an experienced Accounts professional to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied finance role, combining purchase ledger and cashiering responsibilities within a busy, collaborative environment.You''ll be joining a team that values accuracy, professionalism, and strong service - while also supporting development, wellbeing, and progression.What you''ll be doingThis is a hands-on finance role where you''ll take ownership of a range of accounting and cashiering tasks, including:Processing supplier invoices and ensuring accurate ledger postingRunning weekly payment cycles and managing approvalsResolving invoice and payment queries with suppliers and internal teamsSetting up and maintaining supplier accountsSupporting credit control and employee expensesHandling cashiering duties including postings, transfers, write-offs, and billing adjustmentsProcessing online banking transactions and reconciliationsSupporting audits, reporting, and ad-hoc finance tasksWhat we''re looking forExperience in an Accounts/Finance departmentStrong purchase ledger experience (cashiering exposure highly beneficial)Confident Excel and Microsoft Office skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication and relationship-building skillsOrganised, reliable, and able to manage
