An established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice in Maidstone is looking to recruit a Personal or Mixed Tax Senior to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional seeking a varied role within a friendly and supportive environment. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, including directors, sole traders, partnerships, high-net-worth individuals and property investors. Key Responsibilities Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients from onboarding through to completion Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns Advising clients on personal tax planning opportunities, including capital gains tax and inheritance tax matters Handling HMRC correspondence and enquiries Monitoring deadlines and ensuring all compliance work is completed accurately and on time Building and maintaining strong client relationships Supporting junior team members where appropriate Identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value to clients About You Previous experience in a personal tax role within an accountancy practice Strong knowledge of UK personal tax compliance Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines ATT qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience would be advantageous Experience of corporate tax compliance would be beneficial but is not essential What''s on ..... full job details .....
