Safeguarding Officer £28,067 - £29,752 Term Time only Permanent Brent Purpose of the role: The purpose of the role is to provide effective pastoral care, mental health and wellbeing support, and safeguarding support for students with the possibility of working across a range of year groups. You are expected to work with the systems and structures that are in place to ensure all reported concerns are acted on immediately and as a result, students and their families receive professional and efficient support. As the systems and structures reflect the JFS safeguarding policies and Keeping Children Safe in Education, you need to be confident with these documents. You will work collaboratively with the Designated Safeguarding Lead and Deputies on safeguarding concerns; you will also work closely with the Mental Health and Wellbeing Lead, to effectively support students with mental health concerns.
