Job PurposeTo support the delivery of an effective Health and Safety service, ensuring the business meets its statutory responsibilities and provides safe working environments for employees, clients and those affected by its operations, while complying with company policies and procedures.The RoleReporting to the Regional Health and Safety Manager, you will provide proactive Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) support across construction and engineering projects. The role involves advising operational teams, conducting site audits and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation. This is a regional role requiring regular travel across project sites.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide professional health and safety advice to senior managers, project managers and site teamsEnsure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act, Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations and CDM RegulationsConduct site inspections and audits and support the management of EHS performance across projectsInvestigate accidents and incidents and produce reports with recommendationsSupport the development and implementation of health and safety policies, procedures and risk assessmentsAssist in the delivery of health and safety training across operational teamsPromote a positive health and safety culture and drive continuous improvementMonitor legislative changes and ensure compliance across operationsRequirementsProven experience managing health and safety within a construction or eng
