About the Role:
Based in a secondary school in Milton Keynes, the role of School Sports Coach will involve leading/supporting PE lessons, organising and supervising/coaching sports events, fixtures and extra-curricular clubs. You''ll be responsible for ensuring all resources and equipment are well-maintained and safe. In addition, your role will extend to contributing and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle among the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organise, manage, and lead sports fixtures, events, and clubs
• Ensure that all sporting equipment and resources are risk assessed/kept in excellent condition
• Assist with the delivery of Curriculum PE lessons
• Mentor students in physical development and sporting values
• Promote a positive and inclusive physical activity based culture within the school

Requirements:

• Experience in coaching sports and working with young people
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A passion for sports and physical education
• A commitment to health and physical activity
