We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Joiner to join a busy responsive repairs team working across the Widnes and surrounding areas on behalf of a well-established social housing contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson looking for a long-term temporary contract with consistent work and an immediate start.
Your new role

• Carrying out all aspects of 1st and 2nd fix joinery
• Hanging and repairing internal and external doors
• Repairs to frames, skirting boards, architraves and flooring
• Kitchen repairs, replacements and installations
• UPVC window and door repairs
• Fire door maintenance and repairs
• General property maintenance and reactive repair works
• Completing basic multi-trade tasks such as patch plastering, tiling and minor plumbing repairs
• Diagnosing faults and identifying the most effective repair solution
• Recording completed works using PDA or mobile technology
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations
• Providing excellent customer service within tenanted properties

What you''ll need to succeed

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Joinery
• Previous experience working within social housing or responsive repairs
• Multi-skilled maintenance experience desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
