This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist engineering business involved in the repair, refurbishment and re-engineering of industrial machine tools. You''ll be working on a variety of CNC and conventional machines, carrying out mechanical rebuilds, precision fitting, alignment and refurbishment to a high engineering standard. The role is predominantly workshop based, giving you the opportunity to work on complete machine rebuild projects from initial strip-down through to final testing and delivery. There will also be occasional nationwide travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, servicing and technical support.The Role:Strip down, repair and rebuild CNC and conventional machine tools, including machining centres and vertical turning lathes.Fit and align beds, columns, tables, headstocks, ballscrews, linear rails, slideways and spindle assemblies.Rebuild mechanical systems including gearboxes, drives, bearings and hydraulic components, alongside precision alignment and geometry checks.Assist with installations, commissioning, retrofits and customer support, ..... full job details .....
