We''re looking for a Street Lighting Electrician who enjoys working as part of a professional team, applying technical skills and delivering high-quality electrical work. You''ll be responsible for a range of tasks including cable installation and termination, lantern replacements, fault finding, repairs, inspections, testing and certification of both new and existing installations.

This is a varied, hands-on role that combines electrical expertise, problem-solving and a commitment to safety and service excellence. Travel, working away, and day/night shifts form part of this role.

What You''ll Be Doing

• Liaising with Electrical Supervisor / Site Supervisor / Site Manager to outline works set out to be done.-
• Ensuring all works carried out are to a high standard both in quality and electrical safety.-
• Carrying out all types of electrical / none-electrical works as requested.
• Providing accurate timely results from testing and inspections.-
• Organising and prioritising your work out on site to ensure deadlines are met.
• Keeping company vehicle tidy and fully stocked to allow electrical tasks to be carried out.
• Completing all necessary documentation such as DDR and Fast Field log system.
• Ensuring all RAMs are read, understood, and followed.
• Adhering to all Carnell and Client safety rules and policies. -

What You''ll Bring

We''re looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, learning new skills and helping others, alongside:

• CSCS card
• HERS Accreditation or working towards
• Hold relevant electrical qualifications (City and Guilds or other)-
• BS7671 18th Edition regulations-
• 2391 inspection and test (or HERS 714/715 qualification)
• An understanding of relevant health & safety legislation
• MEWP IPAF qualification (desirable)
• G39 qualification (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence
• Good communication skills
• Positive and reliable approach
• Flexibility to travel, work away and work day/night shifts when required
