The role focuses primarily on planned maintenance, fault-finding, and continuous improvement within a mixed-age manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on automated production and packaging equipmentDiagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtimeSupport mechanical maintenance tasks including bearings, pumps, gearboxes, and valvesWork proactively to improve equipment reliability and performanceOperate independently during shifts while contributing to the wider engineering teamSupport continuous improvement and CI-focused activitiesParticipate in shift cover, with flexibility to move onto nights if business needs requireThe Ideal Candidate will have:NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering via apprenticeshipStrong electrical bias with multi-skilled maintenance experienceMinimum 3 years'' experience in a similar FMCG or manufacturing environment (food preferred, not essential)Experience working on conveyors, packaging, and automated equipmentA proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work alone on shiftD
