Applications – Work on the next generation of NHS England applications, including the NHS App, NHS.uk, Urgent and Emergency Care, and General Practice. Help deliver solutions that benefit both end users and the public.Security – Influence stakeholders on the value of Security Architecture in a complex, regulated environment. Ensure data is handled securely and digital services operate with integrity and efficiency.Infrastructure – Contribute to our sustainable hybrid cloud strategy, support next-gen network innovations, and help drive digital collaboration through the Microsoft arrangement.Platforms – Develop the next generation of NHS England’s application services, APIs, event-driven systems, and registries. These national platforms share data, improve healthcare, and save lives.Responsibilities
Taking ownership of specific architecture components, ensuring alignment with standards and enterprise frameworks.Collaborating within agile teams alongside service designers, user researchers, engineers, and clinicians.Acting as a technical contact point for stakeholders and suppliers.Organisation context

Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
