SC Cleared Backup Engineer Initial 6-Month ContractLondon Hybrid 500 - 600 p/day Inside IR35 An excellent opportunity for an experienced Backup Engineer to support and maintain enterprise backup and recovery services within a secure enterprise environment. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Commvault and/or Rubrik, alongside a solid background in backup administration, disaster recovery and enterprise infrastructure environments. Key Responsibilities:Monitoring, maintaining and administering enterprise backup and recovery services.Troubleshooting backup failures, resolving recovery issues and conducting root cause analysis.Managing backup policies, retention, replication and reporting.Supporting backup and recovery across VMware, Windows, Linux, SQL Server, NAS and enterprise storage environments.Assisting with platform upgrades, migrations and operational improvements.Supporting disaster recovery activities and recovery testing.Producing and maintaining technical documentation, backup procedures and recovery plans.Working within ITIL-based operational support environments to ensure service availability and reliability.
