My client are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their Durham based team to drive CI and process optimisation for current product line and new product introductions. Responsibilities Drive lean manufacturing principles including input into production Kaizen activities Optimising manufacturing process, participating in RCA and corrective actions as required, and participating in process and equipment risk assessment reviews. Ensure that tooling, gauging and quality requirements are considered early in the NPI process. To assist in the preparation of production cost estimates and resource models. Supplier auditing, support and development. To plan, organise and control Engineering resources in order to meet manufacturing and project requirements. Requirements - HNC/HND/Degree in an engineering bias - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt - Comfortable working from technical engineering drawings - Familiarity with CAD
