Job Title: Freelance Quantity Surveyor - New Build Housing

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a leading new build housing company in their East Yorkshire region. Based around the Hessle area, you will support the commercial team in delivering high-quality residential projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of allocated new build housing developments.
• Prepare and manage budgets, valuations, and cost reports.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, payments, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and ensure financial targets are achieved.
• Work closely with site teams to provide commercial support.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the new build housing sector.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Good knowledge of construction contracts and cost control.
• Availability for a freelance/contract role in the Hessle area.
