The Front of House Captain will support the General Manager in driving sales, maintaining brand standards and creating a positive, high energy team environment.What you’ll do

Leadership and Coaching

Deliver daily briefings and provide real time, on shift coaching to build skills and confidence within the Front of House teamKeep energy levels high during peak times and use quieter shifts for focused 1-to-1 coaching and development

Performance Management

Update weekly team boards with performance metrics and set or adjust individual waiter targets based on dataIdentify and act on opportunities to drive sales and service resultsSupport with performance management and train fellow Front of House Captains

Planning and Organisation

Assist with the weekly rota planningCheck the weekly cleaning records and escalate any issues

Guest Experience

Role model excellent service on every shiftShow best practice in upselling, menu knowledge, and speed of serviceSupport the team in handling guest complaints or queries with confidence and professionalism

Team Engagement

Foster a positive, inclusive, and energetic team cultureCelebrate successes, both individual and team-wideSupport the onboarding of new team members and help them thrive
