Job Description Healthcare Assistant (HCA) Millennium Staffing Ltd is looking for compassionate, reliable and dedicated Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to provide high-quality care and support to residents in care homes and other healthcare settings. The successful candidates will help residents maintain their dignity, independence, comfort and wellbeing by providing person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans and company policies. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting, while respecting their dignity, privacy and personal preferences. Support residents with mobility, repositioning and transfers, following safe moving and handling procedures. Assist with meals and drinks, ensuring that individual dietary requirements and hydration needs are met. Provide emotional support, companionship and reassurance to residents, promoting their independence and overall wellbeing. Observe residents'' physical and emotional condition and promptly report any changes or concerns to the nurse in charge or senior staff. Maintain accurate care records and complete all required documentation in accordance with care home procedures. Follow individual care plans and risk assessments to ensure residents receive appropriate and consistent care.
