You will be joining a well established manufacturing business based in Daventry.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled MIG Welder looking for a varied, hands-on role within a growing manufacturing environment. Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8am-4:30pm, with a 3:30pm finish on FridaysLocation: Daventry, NorthamptonshireSalary: 38,000Responsibilities:Carry out MIG welding on a range of steel fabrications, including generator fuel tank base frames and other generator components.Read and work accurately from engineering and fabrication drawings.Carry out fabrication, repair and modification work where required.Prepare fabricated steel components ready for painting and finishing.Undertake sanding, cleaning, masking and other preparation activities.Carry out industrial painting and finishing of fabricated steel components.Inspect completed welding, fabrication and finishing work to ensure it meets the required quality standards.Safely move materials and fabricated components around the workshop using a forklift.Maintain a high standard of workmanship across all welding, fabrication and finishing activities.Support the wider manufacturing operation with additional duties where required.Work overtime when necessary to support production requirements.Requirements:Previous MIG welding experience is essential.Ability to read and accurately interpret engineering and ..... full job details .....
