Job Description:
- Plan and deliverandnbsp;engaging,andnbsp;differentiated, andandnbsp;curriculum-alignedandnbsp;lessons in line with theandnbsp;National Curriculum for Key Stage 1
- Foster aandnbsp;nurturing and inclusive classroom environmentandnbsp;that supportsandnbsp;academic,andnbsp;social, andandnbsp;emotional development
- Use a range ofandnbsp;formative and summative assessmentsandnbsp;to track pupil progress and inform planning
- Work closely withandnbsp;teaching assistants,andnbsp;parents, and the wider school community to support each childandrsquo;s learning journey
- Contribute to the development of theandnbsp;KS1 curriculumandnbsp;and participate inandnbsp;whole-school initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience teaching in aandnbsp;KS1 settingandnbsp;(desirable but not essential)
- Be aandnbsp;creative and reflective practitionerandnbsp;with a strong understanding ofandnbsp;child developmentandnbsp;andandnbsp;early literacy and numeracy
- Demonstrate excellentandnbsp;communication,andnbsp;organisation, andandnbsp;classroom managementandnbsp;skills
- Be committed toandnbsp;inclusive practice,andnbsp;safeguarding, andandnbsp;child wellbeing
- Be enthusiastic aboutandnbsp;continuous professional developmentandnbsp;andandnbsp;team collaboration
