An enhanced DBS disclosure will be carried out by the company.The Role:As a Cook Manager, you''ll be at the heart of the kitchen, managing and inspiring your team to deliver fresh, tasty nutritious meals and outstanding service every day.Responsibilities: Prepare the menu using the recipes provided, including catering for special dietary needsEnsure food hygiene, allergens, and health and safety standards are always metStock control, place orders, and manage the budgetsLead and support your team, helping them grow and do their bestBuild positive relationships with staff, students, and the wider school communityAbout you: Experience in educational catering or similar environment and a passion for working with fresh, quality ingredientsFood Hygiene Level 2 certification, with further training available if neededStrong understanding of health and safety in a kitchen environmentA self-starter who can take initiative, drive results, and motivate and develop your teamEager to learn, grow, and make a positive impact in the school
