We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Fabrication Estimator to join our well-established Company. This role will involve estimating costs for fabrication, and welding projects, with a focus on full assembly fabrication, material take-offs, and tender submissions. Experience with site visits and pricing site installations is advantageous.Key Responsibilities:Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.Prepare material take-offs, including proprietary items, based on project drawings and specifications.Create and submit tender returns, including final offer letters using standard templates.Price site installation work, considering material costs, labour, and overheads.Collaborate with customers and internal teams to clarify project requirements and communicate pricing details.Maintain and update pricing documentation and spreadsheets using Excel and Word.Conduct site visits to assess project scope and gather relevant information for pricing.Support the project team in understanding cost structures and project expectations.Essential Experience and Skills:Fabrication background (light/medium fabrication is essential, with heavy fabrication knowledge advantageous).Pipework experience (desirable, but not essential).Machining knowledge (preferred, but not essential).Experience in welding and fabricating full assemblies.Strong experience working on the shop floor within engineering shops.Ma
