Mechanical Maintenance Tech - Crane Maintenance
Zenith People are working with our client who are an established organisation seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and performance of overhead cranes and lifting equipment across a busy operational site. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns on cranes and lifting systems. Conduct scheduled inspections, testing, and routine servicing activities. Manage maintenance workloads, ensuring tasks are prioritised and completed efficiently. Provide input to improve maintenance routines, schedules, and overall equipment reliability. Maintain accurate and compliant records for all crane and lifting equipment maintenance activities. Communicate essential information to management, engineering teams, and colleagues across shifts. Update stores and parts records during each shift. Support the training and development of team members as required. Skills and Experience Time-served engineer with a recognised engineering qualification. Experience working under pressure with strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks in line with operational needs. Self-motivated, capable of working independently, and committed to delivering high-quality work. Competent computer skills, including familiarity with standard MS Office applications. Comfortable working at height.
