Working closely with the Head of Wildlife and the wider leadership team, you''ll play a key role in strategic planning, habitat development, and team performance.You''ll lead both Wildlife and Veterinary teams, support staff development, uphold compliance standards, and champion innovation across the site - all while helping to deliver meaningful conservation and sustainability initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support Wildlife and Veterinary teams to ensure best-in-class animal careEnsure compliance with zoo licensing, health and safety, and regulatory standardsOversee animal habitats and guest safety across walk-through areas and Safari-DriveCollaborate on budgeting, capex planning, and operational schedulingDrive continuous improvement in welfare, sustainability, education, and biodiversityFoster strong relationships with external zoological and conservation organisationsSupport staff training, performance reviews, and workforce planningCoordinate effectively
