Vehicle Technician role with a VAG-focused independent workshop in Lichfield, West Midlands. Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Vehicle Technician to service, maintain, diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles to a high standard.

Duties:

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, inspections and health checks as a Vehicle Technician
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete effective repairs
• Undertake repairs including brakes, suspension, clutches, exhausts and tyres
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify vehicle issues
• Complete job cards, service records and documentation accurately
• Work to health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised workshop
• Support efficient throughput while maintaining quality workmanship as a Vehicle Technician

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Mechanic or Service Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability across modern vehicle systems
• Knowledge of repair procedures and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Proactive attitude with a consistent customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• Own set of tools
