Chef Manager

Salary: andpound;45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm (45 hours per week)
Working Weeks: 42 weeks per year (term time, INSET days and 3 additional weeks)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chef Manager to lead our busy catering operation. You''ll oversee the daily running of the kitchen, manage a team of 10+ staff, and ensure the delivery of high quality food, excellent service, and outstanding hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a catering team of 10+ staff.
• Manage daily kitchen operations and service delivery.
• Plan nutritious, high quality menus.
• Oversee ordering, stock control, budgets, and food costs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen regulations.
• Manage rotas, staffing levels, and team performance.
• Maintain excellent customer service and food quality standards.

About You

• Proven experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef, or Senior Chef.
• Experience managing teams of 10+ people.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management.
• Skilled in budgeting, stock control, and cost management.
• Organised, professional, and able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
• A natural leader with a passion for food and service excellence.
