My client is currently recruiting for a new Assistant Financial Accountant based in Leatherhead.Client DetailsMy client is currently recruiting for a new Assistant Financial Accountant based in Leatherhead.DescriptionAssist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Support the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other tax filings.Help with the maintenance of the general ledger and ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately.Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payments and receipts.Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation for month-end close.Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis for management.Help with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.Assist in audits by providing relevant financial data and documentation.Support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and improving internal processes.Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and reporting as required.
