We are looking for a seasoned Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have commercial leadership experience in the pharmaceutical wholesale and healthcare industries, strong strategic thinking, sales and marketing expertise, and exceptional communication skills.The role will be responsible for leading the commercial strategy, driving growth and market share by overseeing the sales team, conducting market analysis, and building relationships with key stakeholders to enhance brand visibility.Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the commercial B2B strategy to drive growth and maximise market share in the UK and internationallyBe an exceptional leader to the commercial team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountabilityConduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform business decisions and product developmentIdentify new business opportunities and potential partnershipsOversee the sales team to ensure the achievement of sales targets and revenue goals, implementing effective sales strategies and processesMentor and develop the sales team, providing training and resources to enhance their performanceCollaborate with marketing teams to align branding, messaging, and promotional activities with overall commercial objectivesEnsure that marketing initiatives support the sales strategy and drive customer engagementBuild and maintain relationships with key stakeholdersAnalyse sales data and financial reports to inform strategic decisions and ensure financial sustainabilityRequirements
Experience in commercial leadership roles within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or MedTech industries, with a proven track record of driving growthStrong experience in pharmaceutical wholesaleInternational experience in the GGC, EU, USA is preferredStrong strategic thinking and planning abilities, with experience in developing and executing successful commercial strategiesDeep understanding of sales and marketing principles in the pharmaceutical and MedTech sectorsExperience in building and leading high-performing sales teams and driving sales performanceFamiliarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements relevant to pharmaceutical and MedTech marketing and salesBenefits
